Quality Assurance

i3PT work with clients to make sure that their assets are delivered to the highest
standards, meeting and exceeding performance requirements.

"Quality is a habit, Not an act." John Muddiman (also Aristotle)

At i3PT, we believe that quality is only achieved through a system of linked activities. This process driven approach goes beyond the world of ISO and “paper-tigers”. i3PT are “hands-on” and we employ construction experts with trade backgrounds to lead our QA services.

How do we work?

Our QA teams work closely with construction crews and subcontractors on site. Our philosophy is one of collaboration and knowledge-sharing. We understand that friction and conflict are often necessary to achieve optimal outcomes, but that conflict should never be destructive. We always work to preserve the self-esteem of those who deliver the assets which we are fortunate to review.

Closing the performance gap

Whether it is ESG, building safety or the general standard of workmanship on sites, our industry has a reputation for underperformance. Our growing team of trade specialists understand what it takes to deliver best practice, because they have first hand experience of implementing the systems which they have been tasked with auditing. They also know the challenges which are inherent within each trade. This combined experience makes our QA uniquely qualified to minimise performance gaps during the construction and handover phases. Our combination of site inspections, commissioning validation and post-occupancy assessments significantly reduce the likelihood of failure and maximise asset values for our clients.

i3PT realised at an early stage that our process (which was based on the methodology for food certification) would require a digital platform in order to demonstrate due diligence. With this in mind, we set about developing the obi® platform in 2013.

The obi® platform has since developed exponentially, expanding both in terms of functionality and sheer volume of users. Today it allows us to manage virtually all key aspects of a construction project, as well as providing CAFM tools and ESG management during the operations phase. It is truly a single platform for the entire asset life cycle, assisting clients with creating a digital “Golden Thread”.
